Summary:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial records. You will play a key role in supporting the financial health of our company.
- Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Prepare general ledger entries
- Generate and analyze financial reports (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement)
- Assist with tax preparation (if applicable)
- Maintain accurate accounting records according to Egyptian GAAP
- Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting regulations and procedures
- Perform other accounting tasks as assigned
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a general accounting role
- Proficiency in accounting principles (Egyptian GAAP)
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., odoo, Zoho book)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
